[edit] Upcoming Construction

Canton Center Rd will be widened to 5 lanes between Cherry Hill Rd and Palmer Rd in 2010. [1]

Sheldon Center Rd will be widened to 5 lanes between Canton Center Rd and Joy Rd in 2010. [2] [3]

Cherry Hill Rd will be widened to 5 lanes between Sheldon Rd and Haggerty Rd in 2011. [4]

[edit] Potential Construction

Canton Township officials hope that eventually I-275 will be connected directly to Haggerty Rd at Ford Rd to alleviate congestion at the intersection of Ford and Haggerty. As of 2-17-2010 federal funding was denied for this project [5], leaving its status up in the air.
