Canton Public Library serves more than 85,000 residents of Canton. Their mission statement is "The Canton Public Library connects your community."

The library is located at 1200 S. Canton Center Rd in Canton.

CPL lends books, DVDs and video games. Ebooks are available through the website. They also have some non-media items like Kill a watt energy meters.

There is free WiFi in the building as well as computers with internet access. Jungle Java has set up shop at the entrance to provide coffee to library patrons.

On Thursdays, the closing announcement is sung to the tune of children's songs.

Members of the Canton Public Library Board of Trustees are James G. Fausone, Kimberly Schulz, Michael Siegrist, George Snow, Don Turner, and Colleen Van Auken.

A printed newsletter, Canton Public Library Connections, is available in the library and is mailed bulk rate to Canton residents. It contains program information and a library calendar.
